Wikipedia. Alesana ( / ˌ æ l ɪ s æ n ə / AL -is- AN -ə ) adalah band post-hardcore Amerika dari Raleigh, North Carolina . Dibentuk pada tahun 2004, kelompok ini saat ini masuk ke Revival Recordings and Artery Recordings dan telah merilis dua EP dan lima album studio full-length. Band ini mendapatkan khalayak luas setelah debut mereka, On Frail Wings of Vanity and Wax dirilis, menampilkan gaya musik yang bergeser di antara suara ringan dan berat seiring dengan pengaruh yang luas mulai dari rock band rock klasik seperti the Beatles . Penonton mereka tumbuh majorly setelah merilis album ketiga mereka, The Emptiness , yang dirilis pada awal tahun 2010. Nama band mereka berasal dari jalan bernama Aliceanna Street, yang merupakan tempat dimana vokalis / gitaris Shawn Milke dan gitaris Patrick Thompson (yang juga gitaris untuk Versus Me ) tumbuh dewasa, di Baltimore dimana semua anggota awalnya membentuk band ini.
